Written for Nicola’s #SixWordStoryChallenge at Sometime Stellar Storyteller. This was tricky! I wanted to write something about the kind of loss that can begin years before actual bereavement, perhaps because of estrangement or ill health changing the person you love. Not sure I’ve managed it though – could have done with another word or two!

Absolutely, that’s where I was trying to go with this. Out of interest, also just started a longer ‘thing’ (might turn out to be a novel,but at the moment still just a thing) about the same subject.
